Rev. JoAnne M. Holder, M.S.

Rev. JoAnne M. Holder is a Local Elder at Mt. Plymouth A.M.E. Church in Felton, Delaware, where she serves under the pastorate of Presiding Elder Ellis B. Louden.  Rev. Holder is very active at her church—she serves as a preacher, teacher and an effective leader.  She is also a Delaware Conference Evangelist, Assistant Secretary for the Annual Conference, the Dover District Church School Superintendent, and Chaplain for the First Episcopal District Church School.  Rev. JoAnne was appointed to serve as Supply Pastor at Mt. Plymouth in October of 2020.

 

Rev. Holder is a graduate of Delaware State University and Wilmington University.  She holds a BS in Accounting and a MS in Public Administration.  She is a State of Delaware retiree, from the Department of Education, in 2016 with 36+ years of dedicated public service.

 

Rev. Holder is active in her community.  She is a member of the Star Hill Social Action Community, under the leadership of Rev. Rita Paige, and a trained Registrant with the Delaware Department of Elections.  She was a member of the Prameela Kaza political campaign for House District 31, in the early 1980’s. 

 

She is married (Edward Lorenzo), the mother of two (David and Cristina), grandmother of four and the great grandmother of 11.  She loves helping others by sharing her time, her talent and her love for the Lord.
